Another new arrival to the Nexus, a young man who looks twenty-ish. He walks for a while, observing, before arriving back at the sign and asking his required question.

He has a pleasant voice, but there's something cold and inhuman in his eyes. "Does this place have a leader...? If so, I would like to speak to them."

Terebas is skipping. This takes a bit of attention so she doesn't realize the difference *right* away. 'Hi Kuja!' Skip skip ? full stop! Wait. She half-turns to look at him.

She's just a kid, too young to be helpf-wait, what?

"Who are you?"

She heads over, entirely without fear, silly girl. 'I'm Terebas! You don't know me, do you.' Not really a question. She's getting pretty good at recognizing alternates.

Her shadow is behaving today! It's very dark, but otherwise normal.

"...No. Should I?" He sounds distracted, though he's looking right at her. Is there anything magical about her~?

Terebas actually does have quite a bit of magical potential, though if Kuja can tell the energy is being pulled slowly into her oddly-potent shadow; around her and in it there are threads of some kind of very neat temporal manipulation.

She's shaking her head, cheerful; everyone she's met so far think alts are normal. 'No, I don't think so. You don't look *just* like the Kuja I know.'

He can tell, after a minute or two of staring. It might be obvious to her what he's doing, it's hard to hide when he's looking this closely and he can't be bothered to try.

"What do you mean, 'the Kuja you know'?"

She fidgets a bit, but figures fair is fair and staaares right back. He's really bright and pretty!

'I mean the Kuja that's here already!' How is this a strange concept, new Kuja?

He's looking over every little detail. It normally doesn't last this long, he might be dragging it out longer.

"Where is this other one?"

He might notice how well time-magic and human-magic and shadow fit together, though the first belongs least. Her aura has signs of order to it, perhaps giving the idea of a strong and toned physical body, or the potential of one. What might she see~?

She might be blushing just a little at the scrutiny, but not as much as she'd be if she weren't examining the magic in and around him. 'Um.... I'm not sure. I see him sometimes, but I don't know where he lives. He has a lot of the Nexus in him, though, so he probably lives here!' She's pretty sure about this.

He stops his search, planning to go over what he saw later.

She'd see a lot of magic that's meant to be there. Unlike his soul, which looks like it's not. And if she can see places in people, he's originally from one world but spends most of his time on another.

In a tone that says bad things will happen if she doesn't, "Tell me everything else you know about him."

Strange soul ... is it a host-body? But he's not Anari! Strange. And the most that she can tell is that he's from a world/reality *like* Kuja's, but not *quite.*

And she starts, staring; she doesn't get people talking to her in anything *like* that tone often, especially for no good reason! 'Wh-why?' Blink, and there's some slow anger at that tone stirring up in the back of her mind. On the surface, she's just shocked.

She's almost got it! And the other Kuja wouldn't have as much of Terra on him.

"Because I asked you to." It's not that hard.

[thebasi]

She folds her arms, lifting her chin and narrowing her eyes. 'You weren't very *nice* about it.'

She's already helped him out a lot. If the fake's living here, all he'll have to do is search the Nexus instead of looking through all the worlds.

Even lower, and more threatening than before, "Tell me what you know."

[thebasi]

This time around she just flushes angrily. 'No! You're mean.'

Her shadow's stirring a bit, chilling her through her sneakers. Nothing aggressive, though.

He hasn't heard about the field yet, so he reaches out with the blue light and yanks. Hard enough to pull her over, if it works.

"I need to know."
