Big Bad Kakyoin: *Big Bad Kakyoin has, at this point, forgotten about his LOL.* Fear not. HEIROPHANT GREEN! *Kakyoin really milks the calling of his Stand, striking a heroic summoning pose and everything. Kakyoin's Stand, Heirophant Green, appears immediately, hovering a few feet off the floor. The green apparition is humanoid, and has veined skin, much like a plant. Several long, whip-like tentacles sprout from its back, and it seems almost transparent.* My stand and I can defeat any opponent! I fought Dio, the time stopping vampire when he tried to take over the world. Maybe you've heard of me? *Poseposepose.*

Selene shakes her head.

"No, I've been raised in Candlekeep since I was a child. This is the first time I've been outside it's walls. My father... he said that it wasn't safe anymore... He... I think he would've explained more, but then that man appeared and..."

Selene bites her lip and looks to side. It's still painful for her to remember that night.

Elisa considers this for a moment. "Sounds like..." And ultimately, she's got nothing. "I don't know. But I do know that you're safe here."

[selene_bhaal]

"Safe? Here?" Selene gives a bitter laugh. "But if I stay here, how will I find the truth? And how can I leave my companions behind to deal with the bandits that are plaguing the Sword Cost? While it may be safe, I cannot stay here."

"Dunno about why someone wants you dead, but as long as you stay here you;re pretty much safe. Apparently you can't be hurt unless both people agree to fight."

"How is this achieved? Is there a spell or some sort of ward in place?"

Selene appears intrigued, but then sighs and shakes her head.

"I cannot stay in this place... Whatever this place is. There is still unfinished business I must resolve."

"Haven't been here long enough to find out."

"I get what your sayin'. Do you think the unfinished business might have something do with why someone wants you dead?"

"Yes... Not only that, but there's been a plague of bandits attacking travelers and there was the mystery of the corrupted iron. My party and I traveled to the mines and found out that the bandits were behind that. And it seems that they're taking orders from someone else too..."

She shakes her head.

"I won't be finding the answers to any of my questions if I stay here."

"I'm afraid I don't know. Do you have any enemies?"

"Well, someone is offering gold for my head, so I would assume that I have at least one. But I don't know who or why."

The half-demon girl regards Selene curiously, sensing something about her. "There has to be a reason why. Have you discovered something... unique about yourself?"

[selene_bhaal]

Selene frowns. "Well, there's the surge effect of every time I cast magic... But that's usually common with mages with me. Although, sometimes I have these weird dreams," she rubs her forehead, "and then when I wake up, I can heal; and I'm not a cleric or anything."

"Sorry, pretty lady. I don't have the answers for ya'."

She smiles. "It's alright, I honestly didn't expect a answer anyways. But it's worth a shot, right?"

"You're very beautiful, though."

[selene_bhaal]

Selene flushes. "S-sir! T-thank you, but I do not think that is the reason for the bounties!"
