About damn time this thing started working again.*He tucks the device into his vest before addressing the Nexus at large

*Wendel's smile fades a little, however, as she hears his question, and she nods shortly.*

Yeah... I got to see one of the 27 True Runes in action, back during the war.

Yup! I've had it for a while but it hasn't been working for the past... two months? More than that I think. I decided to try fiddle with it again on the off chance that it might still work and, thankfully, it did.

27 True Runes? I think I remember you saying something about a rune cannon. Is it anything like that.

*nods* Me too. Even the portal I originally found here wasn't working. No clue why. *shrug*

*eyes widen* Wow, these runes sound kinda like... well, shikon shards. Maybe a bit more powerful if they grant eternal life. That's some crazy stuff.

*He looks at the rune then twitches at the mention of wind powers.* Wind, eh? I've definitely seen how that kinda thing can cause a lot of destruction.

*looks back up at Wendel* So... what did it do? *very curious*

"This one has seen...Unicron. He was frightening."

Cureall's mood seems dark for a moment then she suddenly brighten, "This one is always grateful to her friends, especially Big Brother Perceptor. He let's her stay with him in his lab when she cannot sleep. She is grateful for that."

What's a Unicron? *headscratch* Is it anything like those unicorn things I've heard about around here?

*nods* Friends and family usually get the brunt of the gratefulness, I've found. Sounds like your brother really looks after you.

"He is a planet devouring monster and the Chaos Bringer." Cureall looks rather uncomfortable. Then her smile returns, "This one is grateful we found each other! I love Big Brother very much."

*cringe* Planet... devourer? Damn. I can definitely see how that would become legendary. Sounds terrifying.

*smiles* Good deal! I'm guessing since you found each other he's more your brother in name and action than in... well, I guess you metal people don't have blood, do you?

"I wouldn't say against all expectations." She smiles. "I'm very very grateful for my friends, and all they do for me. I don't know what a good standard of measure would be though.

"It's good to see you."

Okay, 'all' might be a little bit much. Most expectations, then?

*nods* I know what you mean. Sometimes the little things mean as much as some of the bigger gestures.

Likewise! It's been a while. Though... *looks at her midsection* I'd have thought you'd be farther along than you are considering how long- *stops midsentence* I've got a question. When was the last time we talked. Do you remember?

That... I... that's totally backwards! I've been gone over two months. I mean, not that I'm not grateful for not having missed much here but still. Wow.

Yukina waves. "Hello, Ginta-san!"

"I-I got to see a toushin.." She smiles. "And when my friends saved me from Tarukane's mansion."

*smiles* Hey, Yukina! How've you been?

You saw a War God? *eyes widen* Under what circumstances?

*nods enthusiastically* Yeah, friends saving you is definitely one I can identify with. What was wrong with the mansion that you needed saving from it, though? I'm guessing this Tarukane wasn't such a good character.

"I've been well." She smiles.

"It was Yuusuke-san. We all thought he was just a human...we were wrong. He was really a mazoku descended from Raizen, one of the rulers of the demon world." Yukina looks proud of her friend.

"He...he kept me there, and he made me cry so I would produce jewels for him."

*eyes widen* Wow. That's an impressive lineage. And here I thought the guy was just human too.

*frowns* Making a girl cry on a regular basis just to get riches? That sounds pretty low. *the frown transitions into a confused look* And how does that even work?

There was someone called Lorac the Destroyer that was my people's version of the boogie man. You know the person who kidnaps kids who don't behave or eat their veggies? Yeah. I got to meet him.

Yikes! That sounds... like a pretty unpleasant encounter, actually. Was he really as bad as the legends made him out to be?

He was actually perfectly normal. Until after I met him. There was time travel involved. Apparently he went crazy after I left. Because I left.

That's... very confusing and a little unsettling. So you made the guy go crazy? Or did the time travel do it?
