*There is a small puff of ozone and then there is a somewhat surprised looking Ginta in the Nexus. He glances at the PINpoint in his hand before a small grin stretches across his face.*

About damn time this thing started working again.*He tucks the device into his vest before addressing the Nexus at large

Yukina waves. "Hello, Ginta-san!"

"I-I got to see a toushin.." She smiles. "And when my friends saved me from Tarukane's mansion."

*smiles* Hey, Yukina! How've you been?

You saw a War God? *eyes widen* Under what circumstances?

*nods enthusiastically* Yeah, friends saving you is definitely one I can identify with. What was wrong with the mansion that you needed saving from it, though? I'm guessing this Tarukane wasn't such a good character.

[snowflakemaiden]

"I've been well." She smiles.

"It was Yuusuke-san. We all thought he was just a human...we were wrong. He was really a mazoku descended from Raizen, one of the rulers of the demon world." Yukina looks proud of her friend.

"He...he kept me there, and he made me cry so I would produce jewels for him."

*eyes widen* Wow. That's an impressive lineage. And here I thought the guy was just human too.

*frowns* Making a girl cry on a regular basis just to get riches? That sounds pretty low. *the frown transitions into a confused look* And how does that even work?

[snowflakemaiden]

"I must imagine he was very shocked himself. He thought he was human."

She looks down. "Ice maidens have three gifts. One is our skill in healing, another is our ability to produce ice, and the last one...our tears turn into valuable jewels when they hit the air."

I can see how it would be. Gotta be a huge upturning event when you realize you've gotten your species wrong all these years.

I didn't know that... I've heard of snow women but I didn't know anything about what ice maidens were capable of till you came around. *another frown* That really stinks that some guy used you like that. I'm glad to know your friends got you out of that.

"I'm glad they did, too." She smiles gently and attempts to put a hand on Ginta's shoulder. Of course, because of her height, it only falls on his arm. "How are you, Ginta? Well, I hope."

*smiles back* Yeah. I'm a little singed around the edges but still doing pretty well. Not to mention, my leader just got a new weapon so I imagine we're all that much safer. *grin*

[snowflakemaiden]

"That's very good to hear." Yukina beams. "I'm glad you'll be safer. Do you do a lot of dangerous things very often?"

Um, yeah... See, my leader's after this one guy's head because he's responsible for the massacre of a good portion of our pack. But this guy's obviously really powerful to do something like that and is getting more powerful all the time. So it's pretty risky going after him. Then you've got the every day stuff like territorial disputes and the like. It can get pretty chaotic.

[snowflakemaiden]

Yukina frowns. "It sounds scary. You're very brave for staying by his side. I don't know id I would be able to."

She looks away. "Please be careful, Ginta-san."

[x_ginta_x]

*rubs at his neck and doesn't quite look her in the eyes* Yeah, brave... *also neglects mentioning that he and Hakkaku didn't really want to follow Kouga into this last place at first*

*smiles* Oh, don't worry, Yukina. I'm always careful in this kind of situation. I may end up close to a lot of dangerous situations, but I try to avoid danger as much as possible.

[snowflakemaiden]

She doesn't seem to notice the aversion of his eyes, but clasps her hands together. "Good. I wouldn't want a friend to get hurt."

Yukina bites her lip, pondering something. She opens her mouth, then closes it.

*smiles* Thanks Yukina.

*headtilt* Were you going to say something?

She returns the smile. "You're welcome."

"I had a question to ask. I thought you'd be the best person to ask."
