Summary: Sometimes things don't go as planned.
Sam hated to rush. The day had started well, but small things made him fall behind, and the feeling of being late stressed him. Today he didn't want to be late.
Things were going well and if Dean was still around, he would have told his brother he'd kept his promise to live. That he'd found things worth living for.
Over the years he had learned to live with his blindness. His nightmares occurred less and less, his pain dulled: It had taken drastic circumstances to get so called life and escape hunting, but he wouldn't regret or change what taken place. He made the best of his situation.
