Hurray, I survive

Made it through surgery fine, although yet again splinted up in a fairly disruptive way. Holding tight until Tuesday when I get my splint off and my stitches out. (Somehow, a very tiny spider managed to bite me where one of my fingers meets the bandage? So ontop of "grah splint" I am now undergoing "graahhhhh spiderbite that is constantly rubbing against my splint" and Tuesday cannot come soon enough).

Computer is still wierd. The techie walking me through stuff has no clue. Again, I am tired of giving this priority, I just back up my art nightly.

Roller Derby comic is almost done. I'm very pleased to be at this point, given how disruptive July has been, and hopefully this will be ready in time for APE.

Other news: Dad helped me rig up a planter bed in the yard. About 3 weeks ago I planted some squash/zucchini seeds, and now I'm getting little seedlings poking up. They're very tiny and sweet and sort of chubby, like baby bok choy. Little things make me happy.
