so much for 'regular' updates

So here's a follow up on my entry last week. Last Tuesday I had placement auditions and I did better than I thought I would :). In the symphonic band I'm splitting 2nd chair with another kid
and in orchestra I got put 1st on one song and I have a solo offstage in another. I coulnd't be happier with how things are going in my classes. I'm happy to say that I don't dislike any of my teachers. Unlike high school, all the teachers here are very, very good at what they do. The school of music is very tight-nit so I'm meeting tons of people. It's nice to have a varied schedule so I don't get into too much of a routine. Some days I have to wake up at 7, others days I don't have a class till 4. One of the best things is the class sizes. Most of the classes don't get above 20 students. I have an ear training class with 10 people. I talked to Thommy at UCF and one of his classes has 400 students! That's 1/5 of the entire student body at Stetson. Anyway, I'm working on making the dormroom a bit more personal. Me and my roomate are in the process of getting a shit load of posters to cover up the drab walls. Maybe they'll take the focus off the disaster in the middle of the floor. Well, I gots a class to go to, so I'll update again sometime soon.
