(no subject)
So, the school of music is pretty much making me it's bitch. In a good way. If that's possible. I'm spending most of my scholastic day there, and a lot of my free time as well (we're playing a Ron Nelson song, and for those of you who remember Rocky Point last year know how ridiculous he is).
The trumpet prof. is truly amazing. It's so nice to finally have a practice routine in place. Before when I had no teacher, I just practiced when I felt like it, which is not the way to go. It's good to have someone driing you to learn new things. Also, I wouldn't have nearly as much personal attention at FSU. I would just be an anchovy in a sea of much bigger fish, like tuna. Now at least I'm a small fish in a much smaller tank with a bunch of medium size fish, like salmon or sea bass. I like most of my professors, and even if I don't like them I still have to admit that all are good teachers. I especially like the British orchestra director, who never fails to crack everyone up when he utters a term or phrase only the English use. I'm tired. Music Theory quiz tomorrow!
