Tue 12/7:

Pierce The Veil/Of Mice and Men show. Got to Revolution at 5 thinking there'd be maybe 10-15 people in line...there were 100-150. I had tried contacting the band to get a press pass so I could film them with my 5d but no luck. I brought it just in case but it stayed in the car. I did bring my new Canon S95, which did pretty well considering.

I got there far too late to get any sort of good spot, so I hunkered down in the little alcove in the pit just between the stairs and the side. I figured I could use it as a steady surface for the videos.

Of Mice And Men....wow. Fucking amazing. So much energy, and you could hear them so well. Great mix; that is the downfall of most heavy bands live, you can't make out anything. Second band, In Fear And Faith, was terrible. Super boring.

Pierce the Veil was fucking amazing, of course. The sound was not so good though; Vic's vocals were buried, you could barely hear the bass. Mike is an amazing drummer though!

I left right after them. I'd not seen that place that full in many years...and it was all obnoxious 14 and 15 year olds. I was seriously twice as old as almost everyone there. haha
