The last month and a half...
Between the craziness at work, and the Disney trip, I just totally fell out of updating.
Work:
This consisted of me continually busting my ass to get things ready. The department got into shape, then we received over 120 guitars in the span of a week, all transfers to show off at our reopening. This was very tedious and hectic, but we got them all out. It's interesting to finally have a wide selection of high end guitars. Right before my trip, the reopening was rescheduled. On principle, this bothered me...because frankly this company really does not think about anything most of the time, and does everything half assed. But, it meant I wouldn't get yelled at for missing the reopening AND that I could attend it...all the months of hard work would have something to show for.
Black friday was intense. We had never had more than 10-15 people show up before opening on black friday...this year we had 82. The sat after was terrible though. The reopening...well, we had over 150 people lined up before we opened. People love free shit, what can I say. As a sales day, it sucked. A lot of people just puttering around. But I think it was a success...we got a LOT of people to come into the store that never had, or hadn't in a long time. We got to show off our hard work.
The Disney trip....
This was my real first trip with someone. I mean, I went with Krystal a few years back but, that didn't really feel like a full vacation. This was 7 days. And I totally did not get sick of Denise! Haha. There were a few bad things to it...mostly related to my photography. I could not get
fully in the photo taking mood.
But it's not a big deal, because I had an amazing time, and I shared many amazing moments.
