I rode my bike to the farm and back today. Probably a total of about 21-24 miles. It would have only been 9 each way but Elek wanted to get off the highway and turned onto some other little roads and ended up taking a wrong turn. Oh my god that bike ride to school... Killer. Ouch. Dara told me it wasn't just me. She's lived there for 2 years and walked up that hill every day and it still kills her. Just having an entire day of movement related classes requiring a lot of energy is probably going to be tough, but hopefully I'll get a lot out of them.

So much biking yesterday. It was good for me, right? It doesn't really feel good for me when I get as winded and asthmatic as I go going up hills. I mean come on, can I really be that out of shape? Going up any hill will pretty much get me pretty immediately exhausted no matter what gear I'm in. I guess I need to keep working on that ( Read more... )

Dan returned my photo essay to me with a note. he seems to have really liked it, which is good. I put a lot of work into it.
