Goodnight, goodbye, sleep well
My Aunt Joan passed yesterday evening. She was a formidable woman, and without her, I would be a much lesser person today. I miss her already.
Funeral Thursday, followed by a proper wake. I expect a showing of most of law enforcement throughout the County. It will be a glorious send-off. Kacie and I are holding up well enough, but I expect Honor Guard at the graveside will do us in.
