Hurrah, crafts!

I got bored and there was a Mythbusters marathon on, so doll clothes won the day! (Dreamwidthers: Previous crafty entries are here.)

It's a basic bias-cut jersey dress, nothing particularly special- yeah, I know, modern clothes on a historical, but 1) I ain't made of dolls 2) I ain't got Reconstruction-era-compliant materials falling out of my ass around here.

It's built the same way as the Hollywood Cleopatra costume I made for the '08 ag_over_18 costume swap; the only difference is the straps and the amount of folding on the top, really.

And in case you were wondering and just didn't want to say anything- yes, the hem is asymmetrical on purpose.

Can I just say that Addy has, by far, the best hair of all the dolls I have? Josefina's hair is a nightmare to do anything with, because it's slick, and Sam's hair is just screwed, since I've had her since, uh, 1993. But since Addy's hair is crimped, it hangs together well enough to be finger-styled, which is super easy. And the little purple ribbons turned out adorable. <3

ETA: Oh! I forgot to show you my Blake's 7 pincushion!

Yeah, I said it. Nerdiest thing ever made? Maybe.
