bored and bummed...

*heavy sigh*

There are two people chattering in my office (well, okay, in the other half of the office space, the part that doesn't "belong" to me), so I can't concentrate on writing.

Of the four people originally thinking about going with me to the BSG con in Burbank at the end of this month, three and a half have bailed because of RL. Three ( Read more... )

Oh! Looks cool! but no Mr. Gaeta, then no Rappy crying on a southwest flight screaming "we're all gonna die!" when the landing gear goes down :)

Looks good, but a month is too short for me to budget - especially after splurging on BSG cards (Helo featured prominently btw)

NOES! you have to go... damn i'd go with you if i had money, although I'd but the new computer first haha.

Oh, when a cut itches that means its healing right? so it's probably just still healing.

I can't entertain you, i am about to leave :(

I'd be a happy little fangirl if you went. *And* if you had a new computer.

Frakkin' itch is driving me INSANE! Insane, I tell you!

Have fun with whatever you're going to be doing. :)

Dang! I hate post-cut itchy. But also, bah! about the con. I wish that I could go.

Entertainment, eh? Hmm. Hmmm, hmmm.

Is Helo kind of like Little Red Riding Hood? And Sharon like the big, bad wolf? DOES THAT MAKE CHIEF THE WOODCUTTER, OMG??

*ahem* Sorry about that.

But I know now you're thinking about Helo in a red cape, and the Chief holding an axe, and Sharon having disturbingly large teeth.

Well, I wasn't. O_o

Actually, now I'm wondering if Starbuck is the woodcutter! Or, maybe Starbuck and Chief are both woodcutters, and they were walking along the forest path, bantering

[Starbuck: Pick up the pace.
Chief: Bite me, sir.
Starbuck: [faux-scandalized] Not in public, man]

when they heard Helo's manly scream and went running to see what the problem was.

[Starbuck: [panting as she runs] Bet it's wolves.
Chief: You always think it's wolves.
Starbuck: Pick up the pace, asshole.]

Woodcutting should always be on the buddy-system.

A fish!

Sorry I'm not more entertaining, but I just got in from the heat (I live about half an hour away from Pataskala, so it's just as bad here too). To make up for the bad joke, I give you Helo/Sharon picspam:

YOU DO NOT LIVE THAT CLOSE!

Do you?

Mmm... Helo...

And I found your joke to be vastly entertaining, if only for a brief, shining moment. :P

I believe so. It actually may be more like an hour (according to Google Maps, at least). I live in Gambier (near Mount Vernon). I'm about 45 min. from Columbus.

Yeah, that joke is only really supposed to be entertaining for about 10 seconds. Any more, and it collapses under the weight of its esotericness. "Esotericness" is totally a word...

I love your icon :)

I wonder what it would be like to see Grace at a convention, I bet she would be really funny. Oh Well, maybe one of these years.

How is the next scenes from a liberation coming, I need something to look forward to

I'd like to see Grace at a convention, too, Bob, but so far, no go. :(

I blocked out two new scenes for chapter 3 today, so Liberation is coming along well. If I get some time (and motivation) to write this week, I may be able to have it posted next week. But please, don't hold your breath. I wouldn't want you to turn blue or pass out or anything if I don't get it done.
