*heavy sigh*

There are two people chattering in my office (well, okay, in the other half of the office space, the part that doesn't "belong" to me), so I can't concentrate on writing.

Of the four people originally thinking about going with me to the BSG con in Burbank at the end of this month, three and a half have bailed because of RL. Three ( Read more... )

A fish!

Sorry I'm not more entertaining, but I just got in from the heat (I live about half an hour away from Pataskala, so it's just as bad here too). To make up for the bad joke, I give you Helo/Sharon picspam:

YOU DO NOT LIVE THAT CLOSE!

Do you?

Mmm... Helo...

And I found your joke to be vastly entertaining, if only for a brief, shining moment. :P

I believe so. It actually may be more like an hour (according to Google Maps, at least). I live in Gambier (near Mount Vernon). I'm about 45 min. from Columbus.

Yeah, that joke is only really supposed to be entertaining for about 10 seconds. Any more, and it collapses under the weight of its esotericness. "Esotericness" is totally a word...

I love your icon :)

At this point, I have no idea lol. Oddly enough, the more English literature I study at college, the less of the English language I retain. I think it was some sort of Faustian tradeoff I was required to make when I declared my major.

Hehe. Well I wasn't really arguing with your word so much as suggesting an equally silly sounding one. Though now you've compelled me to go look it up and it seems "esotericism" is the proper noun form, lol.

I was an English major at college. Though I still revel in improper grammar and silly words on occasion. ;)

Gah. I am being e-dense today. I probably should have stopped all online correspondance after I sent a list of future themes for the current round at ff_lims to my co-mod without realizing she is currently competing in said round.

Yay English majors! :) Improper grammar and silly words are even more fun when you're an English major, IMO.
