Since my last post I've hit up the NYC for valentines/Margaret's birthday. So much good food soo much fun. I'd say the highlight of the weekend was free improv at the Upright Citizen's Brigade theater with people from SNL and Second City. Actually I take that back. Going to a near-empty Met when it is closed to the public was bad-assed.
Since Margaret takes archiving classes there we had volunteer access to it, meaning we could wander around with virtually no one around. Most of the people there were crammed into temp Peter Paul Rubens exhibit. It was mainly his rough planning sketches for paintings and copies he made of other artist's works. Sketchbook drawings from classical masters are always my favorite exhibits. Here's my favorite photograph taken that weekend:
Wondercon was this past weekend. My god it made me realize how awesome it would be to get a comic ready and printed in time for the Alternative Press Expo. So need to get that done. I'll probably post some updates on my progress, just to make sure I get something done in time for it. The battery in my camera died so I only got one good picture of the Con, and it's quite frightening (but not as frightening as stumbling upon the Margot Kidder autograph table.)
