Discovered after my last post that I didn't actually have a recipe for lemon souffles, and none of the ones I turned up on the 'net looked quite right. So I improvised.

A couple of people at the last games day asked about the marmalade cake. ( Here's the recipe )

Strangely enough, I've never made Swedish Meatballs before. Don't even remember eating them although I'm pretty sure I must have at some point.
However I had the urge to do something meatball-ish, so thought I'd give it a go. Results were delicious so ( here's the recipe )

There is likely to be a few marmalade based recipe experiments in the next few weeks/months as I make an effort to use up my store of kumquat and cinnamon marmalade.
As usual I can't help but fiddle with any recipe I find, so successes shall be recorded here.

Browsing American recipe websites is really scary. Far too many recipes start with 'a packet of (this colour) cake mix'. I guess I'm a baking snob.

Anyway, since I couldn't find anything quite like what I wanted for using up the tinned peaches, I invented one.
