As of today we are allowed to take the kids to playgrounds again. This is a very big deal for us. Going for a walk or ride just for the sake of exercise lost its shine very quickly and it has been a real struggle to even get them out of the house ( Read more... )

Just prior to the latest lock-down we visited the local library and borrowed more books. Mr8 decided he didn't want anything, so I picked some for him which he refused to read. However many weeks on it is now, I have finally managed to get him to read most of them. Apparently most are merely "ok", but he did get enthusiastic about "Have Sword, ( Read more... )

We've now started week 3 of term 2, with the kids learning at home.
