So, work is going well! I have sliced approximately nine million pounds of cheese and somehow happily managed not to cut myself, which is a blessed wonder considering everything in that deli short of the actual food products are sharp.
Well, except for the cheddar. The cheddar is also sharp.
I'm a little annoyed about having to wear a skirt to work, but aside from that it's good. My boss is cool and all the people I work with seem really nice, except for Diane, who is made of sarcasm and therefore awesome. So far it's been really normal except for when some dude yelled at me while I was harvesting shopping carts and the time Wanda told me about how her granddaughter was harassed by lesbians in the air force training program, which should have been offensive but was just hilarious.
Anyway, what it all boils down to is that I am slicing cheese for $56 a day, which is a pretty sweet deal.
