The nanny has strep. Ouch. She started antibiotics last night and so at this point is not contagious. She said she would call me this afternoon and let me know how she was feeling. The lack of appetite that went with the cold caused me to lose a few pounds, mostly off my hips and ass. Not a ton, but enough to put me at what I consider my fighting weight. I'm making a bunch of food for the girls this weekend and needed chicken. My plan was to put a whole chicken in the crockpot and let it cook all day.
