WIN!
So the New York Times is my new favorite thing, if only for their New York Times Talk thing they do. Basically, they're allowing me to go to a press event with Stanley Tucci, Nora Ephron and ... Meryl Streep. They're talking about the upcoming, sure to be awesome film Julie & Julia. Basically, this is going to be awesome. They're going to talk about the movie that I am so looking forward too, and I'm going to be in the same room! It'll be the first time I see her live, not made up of pixels on a screen! Bah! So cool. Also, the book that the movie is partially based on was hilarious and awesome, and who doesn't love some Julia Child action. Hopefully, they'll either show a clip from the movie, or Meryl will bust out with a bon apetit or two :) One can only hope. Anyway, thank god that I keep up on actorly news, because if not I would have missed out; tickets are already sold out! Sometimes it pays to be overly conscious of all things Meryl. Also, it's a good thing my mother completely understands why I love Meryl and agrees to accompany me on my adventures (she likes Meryl too, it's not just me who wants to go). I wonder if they'll be a Q&A section... what the hell could I even ask? I mean Stanley and Meryl and Nora? They're big shots. Hmm...
