Did you know i went on vacation for the Holidays ?

I went to Venezuela to visit my mom's family. We stayed there for three weeks as we celebrated my grandfather's birthday, Christmas, and New Years with them. I had such a great time, but leaving them was the hardest.

Going to venezuela takes about 6 hours, because of the snow storm we traveled for 48 hours...there was so many complications getting there. I If i had to describe our traveling experience in two words it would be EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER. Although, it was tiring getting there, as soon as we did the trip was amazing.

I can not hear that well right now...and all i hear is is this whoosing noise like a washer machine. I still have airplane ears and i think its because of my cold . It's really annoying. I dropped 2 more classes this semester because of it...yeup i cannot hear. Im in two classes and im struggling to understand what my professor's are trying to say. I already went to the clinic twice and i think tommorow will be my thrid time. It has been three weeks and my ears are still plugged up...it is driving me insane !!!!

On a different note, iv been trying to get through "Huckleberry Finn" Yes the book . It's okay, but if i had a choice to stop reading that book i would do it in a second lol. It;s about a book where a boy goes on many "adventures" as he would call it. I believe they are dangerous adventures that can have the boy killed. I think this book teaches children a lesson if that it explores religion- God, Nature- a spec of transcdentalism as the Americans would call it, but in Britain they would say Romanticism where people are friends with Nature. The boy and his slave/ friend  Jim are one with nature and find it peaceful out there then in a house. They enjoy being one with nature as they lye naked and look in great interest towards the stars and how the stars are made . The book as well explores intertexuality. Intertexuality means that a book is mentioned within the Huckleberry Finn book. This is seen quite a bit. Intertexuality allows readers to see what kind of books people were reading during this time as well allows readers to understand what kind of people they are by the book. The book also explores death and how death is a gate way for peace and happiness according to Huck . Death is a matter of shutting out all emotions and feeling and feeling almost free to escape problems .

Slavery as well is explored in this novel and how it is affliated with the word "nigger" Freedom is also explored , where Jim cant wait to reach cairo so he can be free. But little does he know ...he is already free as he escapes the house of the widow and lives on his own and converses with a white boy named huck...his friend.  However, Jim no longer wants to live in secrecy, he wants to be free!

Religion, in terms of Puritan and how Mrs. Watson would consider to be one. Mrs. Widow is much more subtle as a religious being then oppose to Mrs. Watson.

speech and verbal conversation different from black and white. This is also similar to educated vs. not educated . Lower classes and middle classes. The book thrives to teach many different views about the world. It is a book that Mark Twain shows the realities through speech, through slavery, and through the use of words he gives to each character.

Okay... im done... That's what im reading. Im on page 126... i hope to reach to at least 150 ... i'll try ...i have a little headache right now though and my tonsils are starting to hurt ... i think i am going to take a nice warm shower ...to warm me up and make me feel a little better. I hate being sick.

ANyways, thats it for now...
Enjoy!
