So, the big move is one week from tomorrow. Oh dear me. There is still sooo much to do. I haven't even begun to start packing or cleaning. But at least I did manage to get the washing machine working long enough to get two loads done. Bleh, so I got up today and went to the doctor. I have some sort of infection thing that's going around. I got a shot and some antibiotics and should be good as new in a few days. I'm finally going to tell my editors that I'm leaving. I don't know why, but I'm finding this a little scary at the moment. I mean, I knew this day was coming, that eventually I was going to have to tell them. Oi, today was one of those days.

I decided to go into work early today since I had a lot of reporting left to do. So, I went in at 8:30 this morning, planning to get a head start on things. When I got there, I discovered that the entire office was in a black out. No electricity, no phones, no internet. Really bad news for a newspaper office.

So, my weekends got switched today at work, and I now have this weekend off and am working next weekend as weekend reporter, which opens up the possibility of going to AFO for a day. All I have to say is that I better be going to Korea because I dropped about $60 yesterday on books about Korean language, culture and customs to start preparing. Yea, it's going to take a bit for me to learn the language, but I think I should be able to say hello and good-bye by the time I get there.
