I'm slowly getting a little better.  who da thunk that practice would, you know, actually improve you?  Well, anyway I'm getting a little more pleased with these drawings although I am still a long way off from goodness.  It motivates me to continue, anyhow.  I bought some new pencils at Michael's today and am trying them out.

Ok so the first one is my crappy fake houseplant. lol it's terrible, the perspective is all jacked up.  I got bored and colored it.

The second one is from a shampoo advertisement featuring Eva Longoria Parker. I don't think it quite looks like her but, compared to the previous pastry chef drawing I think this is a definite improvement. This ( Read more... )

I have always wanted to be better at drawing..
