I've always wanted to be a better artist...
I have always wanted to be better at drawing.. I took a half-stab at drawing some stuff when I was in college and I got a lot better. I still kind of suck, though. You may remember my ' elementary school art' post from a while back. Anyhow, after some post-dinner musings tonight with tee_voh we have decided to draw for 15 min a day in the interest of becoming better artists (she already has some experience/taken classes, so I will probably be asking her for some advice).
My hope is to one day become good enough to go to The Drawing Club. There isn't actually any requirement to go there, anyone can show up and they help you if you ask but I want to get something out of it and also not feel like a dorkasaurus.
The inaugural sketch (don't laugh) and my subject). It's a piggy bank shaped like an elephant.. I got lazy at the end and didn't really draw the flower on him properly:
