1. Cooking - There is a trend here.... I like most "food ethnicities". I've never figured out cuisines east of mmmm... India. But between here and there, I like many of them. I bet I have over 4 dozen cook books. I don't have to be sober to cook. I don't have to be sober to cook a feast but you will have to ask Lavinia about that. I can cook most anything that was food to start with. I can also cook turnips.
2. Service - I'm am military brat. You take care of others, others take care of you. No one is going to make it alone. I have my merits like anyone. I try and leverage them. Curing cancer one cheesecake or a jar of jam at a time..... Another quote I like "What wisdom can you find that is greater than kindness?"
3. Marriage- My marriage is my refuge, I wish marriage was for more people. I am fortunate in that I married for love. Other sensible things were considered, but I married for love. I wish more people had that option. I think about my marriage like a piece of patterned fabric sometimes. On one end it is something, on the other end something else, in the middle it is one woven piece.
4. South- South where? Actually my mind has been on the South Pole here lately. it is about the same temperature as Mars. I want to colonize mars. People think it is impossible, but there are thousands (hundreds?) of people living at the South Pole. I mean, you can go there as a tourist!
5. Puns - I actually like the sly ones myself, clever is funny. But largely I love them because they make DH laugh. Cute, cute man.
