Thankful Thursday
1. A big shoutout to my guy colleagues who showed up for the baby shower for our newest engineer. It was me, her and 8 or so guys who had NO IDEA W.T.H. they were doing there except supporting a coworker. Brave dudes really. 3 phones calls from Target last night... Is it still a onesie if it comes in a 5 pack? What colors are allowed for both boys and girls? This is a nursing product right? My wife said I had to spend at least $$.... Will you trade with me and let me give her the Diaper Genie?
2. I am thankful for Ro who called me last night to warn me that DS was so NOT having fun with the flight simulator.
3. I am sooooo thankful to see the end of this work week. I'm pretty sure I stepped off into the Twilight Zone sometime Tueday-ish....
4. I am thankful for the colleague in TX who has been sending me 3 times daily gouge about when i really need to head out next week.
5. I am thankful for the volunteers that come to help launch rockets for space summer camp.
6. I am thankful that someone who does not know me from Adam will call me back to discuss what his organization can do to bail my organization out of an impossible timeline scenario. "Becasue us flight testers have to stick together. And I've been there." A civilian organization no less. If you can't be good you might as well be lucky.
