Minor reason why I'm glad I went with a (mostly) natural birth: Epidurals (per TheNest.com) generally run around $1000; my stadol was only $150. Granted, all of this is before the insurance kicks in, but still. We're probably going to owe the hospital around $600, but considering the total before the insurance kicked in was around $8,000, that's still pretty good.
