Random Thoughts While Noah Naps
1. Dear moms on TheNest.com who all have put their 2 month olds on a daily nighttime schedule of bath-bottle-book-bed: I think you are crazy. Reading to your kids is great, but at 2 months old, I don't really think they care. Also, babies do not get that dirty, and thus do not need a bath every day. In fact, you may be drying out their skin *more* doing that.
2. Memo to the parenting blogger who refers to her older kid and younger kid as "The Heir" and "The Spare" respectively on her blog: I think you are a horrible person.
3. Rachel Maddow has her own show now on MSNBC, which means I can now stop watching Keith Olbermann. Yay! I <3 her so much.
4. I have discovered that I am definitively not the stay-at-home-mom type. God bless those who have that inclination, but I am not one of them. I cannot WAIT to get back to work. Daytime TV sucks.
5. Maria Menounos's Pantene commercial is very annoying. That look you claim is "really easy to do" and then you list the SIX steps you took to get it? Yeah, not easy. You are full of crap. I don't know what planet you live on, but in my world "easy" with regard to hairstyles generally means things like "pull hair back into ponytail, walk out the door". Plus, your hair just looks like regular hair. It's not even fancy enough to devote six steps to.
6. Breastfeeding is exhausting. If I didn't know that bottle-feeding was actually *more* exhausting, I'd think about quitting.
