Yesterday I had a good conversation with Emily, and then I wrote a beautiful functional, functorized trie in ML. Today I rewrote most of it to be imperative because it's bad when your code hits swap. It runs at least a thousand times faster, no exaggeration.

I have incredible, ungodly amounts of work.
