All these dreads are made by me over the past few months and have been worn and washed. They could do with a bit of resealing (a bit of a twist and a hot hairdryer blasted on them should do it!) in places but are for the most part still in tact and ready to be worn again! Well, I finally got there. After nearly a year of wanting a head full of dreads, I researched, I started with yarn falls, moved on to roving, made more falls, I moved on to synth, I made DE dreads, I sealed the dreads, I installed the dreads.....................

And here they are, my first ever full set, in all their amateur colourful glory:

I've been thinking. I like my dark hair -even though it's gone quite light from the sun now- but I miss my red hair so much. Even if it is high maintenance. I saw X Men 3 before I went on holiday and I all I kept thinking when I saw Jean Grey was how much I loved this woman's hair and how much I want my red hair back. But dark red. Like this:
