A friend of mine found this book from the 1940s at a library book sale or some such, entitled: What Men Hate About Women. Oh yes, and it gets better in that it's actually serious. She just sent me a gem of a quote after we had our writers group meeting last night.

This morning I walked into my office building and entered the elevator. I pushed the button but it didn't light up and the doors didn't close. I pushed it a few more times but nothing happened. Well, technically it's pie 1.5. My first pie was a couple of weeks ago that a friend came down to help me make. But THIS pie is my first pie that I made all by myself. I feel so domesticated!

I FAIL at top crusts; that's why it's ugly, but it tasted very good according to the people that ate it, so I'm quite pleased.
