I had an interview Wednesday morning at a publishing house. It went realy well and the guy I interviewed with was positive about my resumé and my qualifications. He also contacted one of my references, so everything is looking like I might have a new job in a couple of weeks.
So why am I not very excited? I've wanted a job in the publishing industry since before I graduated. Maybe I'm nervous because I've built up this illusion of "the perfect job" and what if I don't like working there at all?
Stupid thing to be worried about, but I have this sneaking suspicion that I'm completely unemployable--in terms of doing something I enjoy and getting paid enough for a living anyway.
By the way, I have discovered C.S. Forester's Horatio Hornblower and am in luv. *swoon*
