Oh Textbook

As I think many of you know, I have the best May Term ever. We are encouraged to do reading on the topic outside of class, and one of my outside reading said the following (Taken from Indirect Procedures: A Musician's Guide to the Alexander Technique) :"During Alexander (what we are studying) lessons many pupils go through deep emotional turmoil. The teacher is an agent in such turmoil, and yet he/she must not take the place of counsellor or therapist"(82).

Isn't that something you'd want to put on the syllabus in bold letters as a way to weed people out? I am amused...we'll see if I reach this turmoiled state or not.
