Jury duty
This weekend, I joked with my friends that one of them was a witch. She did, after all, get another mutual friend out of class on two occasions. I told her she needed to pull her witchy powers to get me out of jury duty.
It worked!!!! Or maybe it was a large coincidence, but I learned tonight that my service, which technically lasted until May 25, is over because there are (thankfully!) no trials scheduled.
