It took me forever to wake up this morning, and at first I was plenty nauseous. I was afraid that I had the dread Norwalk virus, at first. But as I slowly dared to open my eyes and move around a bit, the nausea has subsided somewhat. I think I just didn't want to get up.

It's been lovely in DC so far. On top of there being no snipers to worry about (I thought that was great timing, for them to get caught before I got here) the weather is cooperating with me, so it's been sunny and (what I consider to be) warm since the first night, upper 60s to lower 70s. I am a tricky bastard. I went online last night, and bought myself a ticket on Acela for the 8:50 train, just to make sure that I woke up this morning. It worked.

I will have to give more thoughts about this later, since the train leaves in 30 minutes. But I am on my way!
