At work, updating from my Nook to let everyone know that I finished Department of Magical Creatures a few minutes ago. Well, not completely, but I did write the last scene today and I only have a few more scenes to write before it's all finished.

It has come to my attention that I have written three posts in as many days, and that is more than I wrote for the entire month of September.

Moving on. Chapter 14's with wwmrsweasleydo. I have three, maybe four scenes left to write of chapter 15. I think I might hit my goal of finishing the story by the end of the year. Holy fuck.

I found out today that my application to grad school is FINALLY complete! I've been waiting on a recommendation form from a former manager, but she has completely flaked on me, so I asked the principal at my school and she came through! So, now all I am doing is waiting to hear University of Illinois' answer. ::sigh::

Since New Years is only a few days away, I thought I'd post my new goals for the coming year. Well, some are new. Some didn't make it from last year, I'm ashamed to say. Oh well, hopefully I'll do better this year.

• Read 15,000 pages.
• Read 50 books.
• Read at least as many paper/e-books as audiobooks.

As I am in the middle of trying to meet my goal of 50 books this year (43 as of half an hour ago!), I have a bit of an interest. • Learn to modify a sweater pattern to fit my proportions. 
• Complete 12 adult-sized sweaters before 12/31/09 in compliance with nakniswemodo.
