So, part of returning to livejournal is remembering that yes, it is necessary to reply to comments in a timely manner. Le sigh. Since I have finished all of the major assignments for grad school and have only one 2-hour session left of my degree, I have now had time to seriously think about writing. And this is where I am with all of that:
- I want to re-edit and re-upload all of my stories. Yes, you read that correctly. All of them. This does not mean that I want to take them down today and re-upload them in six months, but I would like to start re-reading them and fixing my mistakes. I mainly want to do this so that I can make pdfs of them for readers to download. Also, to cut down on my shame.
- Lucius/Ron story of EPIC proportions that I started two Lucius Big Bangs ago and have yet to finish. Current word count is somewhere around 50k words and is only about 2/3rds finished. It also needs heavy edits due to plot changes.
- A Change of Form, sequel to Dept. I have a very humorous first scene written, and outlines for other things, but not much else.
- I am in the midst of not one, but TWO HP/Supernatural crossover stories. I am writing them mainly because I can't find enough of them to read that are both well-written and are not littered with so many spelling/grammar mistakes it makes me want to gauge out my own eyes (seriously, if you have an recommendations for some, I will write you porn of a pairing of your choosing. I might also send you cookies through the post).
- Sam/Harry post-season 6 of SPN.
- Dean/Harry that starts sometime during season 3.
- Harry/Draco (ugh, I know, but I couldn't make Ron/Draco fit the plot, sorry) that is a Dune-inspired AU.
- I want to make Wild Garden a chaptered story. I have a whole third plot that involved Snape having a prophecy about the whole situation and him finding his soulmates that I included while I was originally writing the story, but had to take out because I ran out of time during the fest and couldn't properly wrap it up. I would like to re-add those scenes and properly finish the story.
- A Ron/Draco story I started plotting at least a year ago, that features Ron as an empath, who can touch people and feel their emotions, and Draco having anorexia, and them falling in love with each other while they try to deal with their own problems and Ron tries (badly) to fix Draco. I have a pretty good outline and a solid start on it, but anorexia is a very sensitive subject that I want to treat honestly, and I don't want to rush the writing of it.
- I started writing a sequel to What Remains Is Nothing Like, but I don't know if I'll ever finish it.
Why am I telling you all all of this? I need someone to kick my ass into writing gear. As in, I need some serious guilt trips. Lay it on as thickly as you can. Don't hold back.
