So, in the wonderful world of cryptic -
nolivingman and I have been plotting. Details are being ironed out but all of you who are Hornblower, Master and Commander, Temeraire, PotC, Austen, and other age of sail fans on my flist, stay tuned. There's fun and excitement to be had. Whoo!
Also, as you may know, I'm a bit of a Ioan Gruffudd fan. Well, he's got THREE movies coming out this year, and the first one comes out February 23rd - Amazing Grace. It's the story of William Wilberforce and his work to abolish the slave trade in Britain. It looks stunning and lovely and has gotten really good reviews on the festival circut. And everyone should go see it - for the message behind it (it's the 200th anniversary of the abolition of slave trade in Britain, as well as the 400th annivesary of the settling of Jamestown, where most slave trade was brought into America - that's not addressed, but it's a relevant point to the message of the film) - as well as the fact that I want my celebrity boyfriend to do other GOOD movies and this one doing well and making money would do that.
