Quick update:
* Still no news on the job front. Hopefully soon!
* Amelia is still adorable, inquisitive, playful, and snuggly. She is an 8-week old ball of orange fluffitude. We give her the run of either the downstairs or the upstairs (we have a baby gate we use at the top of the stairs when she is upstairs) as long as someone is awake to keep the peace. She and Archer are like best buddies; the other three cats are still getting used to her, although Kara still barely stands her - if glowers could kill, poor Amelia would be dead by now.
* Bowling tonight. I think my team is currently in last place, but we keep on trying! The bowling lanes got updated / redecorated a few weeks ago, and some of the improvements are very nice, others not so much. There is now more room for bowling balls, but sadly less room for storage of coats, shoes, etc - there used to be cubbys with hooks in them to hang coats on, but those went away. Argh. However, the new computer scoring system is pretty nifty, with fun animations for strikes, spares, splits, and open frames.
* Dinner with my co-worker Amy at The Melting Pot tomorrow evening. Mmm, fondue!
* We watched The Life of Pi this weekend with friends. The DVD was a gift - I think from last Christmas? - and we hadn't gotten around to watching it yet, as we wanted to watch it with the friend who gave it to us. In honor of the movie, we had Frito's Pie for lunch, apple pie for dessert, and Pi-shaped "crescent" rolls for a side dish. I bought the Pillsbury dough that isn't pre-cut into triangles, sliced the dough into 10 servings, and shaped the slices into Pi shapes, then baked. Yummy and cute!
* Not much else to report at present. Any questions, just ask!
