Introducing....
Our new kitten is finally home with us at last! Hubby drove us down to his brother's place early this Wednesday (10-2-13) afternoon, and we were able to get our long-awaited kitten!
We took her straight to the vet, who confirmed that she had girlie bits, and checked her for worms - he didn't find any, but gave her a dose of de-wormer to be on the safe side. She also got a shot, a flea treatment (she did have fleas) and a general once-over. We also got a dose of Frontline for each of our other four cats to be on the safe side, although kitty is currently sequestered in the computer room for a few days so that we can introduce her to The Big Four slowly, and let her get used to us first. She's a tiny ball of orange fluff and can fit in the palm of our hands. She is already eating solid cat food (although she was nursing her mommy when we got to BIL's house) and likes the kitten chow.
