► It's hard enough using the toilet when the cat is in there laying at your feet. Having him hide behind the toilet and then watch and stare wide-eyed at your backside while you **ahem** clean yourself is just that much more unsettling. Creepy too.
► Ugh, looks like that government check I was waiting and hoping for this week is being lumped in with my income tax rebate, which I didn't get in April and instead will be getting piecemeal from July 2012 to June 2013. It's going to be a tight month after all.
What sucks is I was hoping to pay my friend John the money he spent setting up that Hawkwoman commission with Darryl Banks for me. Looks like I won't be able to send him any money until the end of the month. Ah well. John has told me it's fine and I can take my time paying him back, but I always feel weird when I own people money, and wanted to get reimburse him as soon as I could.

It's just mindboggling how this has gone. A "feminist media critic" decides to start a project to impartially examine possible sexism and misogyny in video games, and video gamers respond with a tidal wave of violent, misogynistic hate and threats online. You stay classy, guys.

► Tumblr: Who is that hot ad girl? - Thanks to this Tumblr I now know who that really cute redhead from the Wendy's commercials is (Morgan Smith Goodwin, apparently). I've thought she was adorable and have had a minor crush on her since the first of the ads began.
► CBR Preview: Kevin Keller #3 - In which Cheryl Blossom shows up leading a gang of homophobic bullies. At least, the Archie Comics version of homophobic bullies. Cheryl, I'm disappointed.
► Girls Summer Fail Compilation 2011 - This cheers me up from my summer heat blues.
