I Actually Won!
► Holy shit! I actually won that Ebay auction! As I mentioned a couple of days ago, I finally got an Ebay and Paypal account on Friday night and bid on a drawing of Black Canary by an artist name Deilson. The seller is the American guy who represents a stable of Brazilian comic book artists including Ed Benes (my friend John says he's a good guy and has commissioned a lot of art through him).
Now I was absolutely certain I would not win the auction since I only placed a maximum bid of $13.67, but low and behold I did! And at only $9.95 US (plus $12 shipping). My first auction. I'm very pleased and excited. Especially since despite my worries, the Paypal account was fine and the purchase went through. Worrying about that is what kept me from bidding on a second drawing I really wanted, a busty Red Sonja. That auction ended first, and I think I could have won it. I would have liked to have added another Red Sonja pic to my humble art collection.
Back to the point, I'm getting that Black Canary pic! I wonder how long the delivery will take. Couple weeks at least, I guess.

► MacRecipes - Every invention, concoction, and explosion from every episode of MacGyver, cataloged. Handy!
► Warner Bros. TV CEO on 'Wonder Woman's' Future, 'Two and a Half Men' Reboot (Q&A) - I don't understand why they seem incapable of realizing that the problem with the Wonder Woman pilot may be that no one wants to watch a Wonder Woman with body image issues who's also neurotic, dorky, and unlucky in love. Wonder Woman should be noble, regal, gorgeous, and kicking ass in the name of peace.
► Full Final Wonder Woman Costume Shot With Adrianne Palicki - Well it would have been an improvement over the slacks.
► Christina Hendricks's Breasts Are Real, Thank You Very Much - Silicone doesn't jiggle, bounce and sway like hers do. And, oh God, do they ever...
► Watch the Real-Fake First Teaser for The Muppets - It looks delightful, and in keeping with the tone of the early films. Very clever trailer.
► Green Lantern trailer - Another new Green Lantern trailer, this time focusing on explaining the origin of the Green Lantern Corps. The movie continues to look better and better.
