Tis The Season To Feel Guilty
► I went out shopping with Dad today and as usual it went fine, no problems or incidents. However, an couple of hours later I was hit with this overwhelming anxiety and desire not to go out for awhile. Dad wants me to go out on Thursday to visit my grandmother but I just feel incredibly unsettled and shaky. I was thinking I probably should stay here in the apartment for the rest of the week anyway, in case any of my parcels are delivered. It would suck if I missed the big package.
Adding to this is worry about an invitation my sister and I received tonight to go to my aunt and uncle's for dinner Christmas Day. Since we're supposed to go to Dad's place the next day for dinner, I was planning on fasting Christmas day so I'll have an empty stomach and feel less nauseous going out. I feel bad about the thought of declining the invitation, but I just don't feel well right now.
While I haven't been having any actual panic attacks or episodes, I've been having increasing trouble going out. I don't have sudden powerfully acute attacks now so much as just overwhelmingly oppressive worries.
I don't know, maybe I'll feel better in a few days.
