► Going to stay in tomorrow and probably until the middle of next week. I'm getting really anxious about that large parcel coming in the mail, and I want to be home just in case it does arrive. Admittedly, with Christmas next week, I probably shouldn't expect it for awhile longer. I'm hopeful though.
Of course, even if it does arrive we are talking about it being delivered via a Canada Post delivery van. Three times earlier this year they stiffed me by not bothering to buzz the apartment and just leaving a failure to deliver notice sticking out of the public mail boxes in the front entrance. I really hope they do deliver it this week, and that they do buzz the apartment.
With the way my nerves have been, I'm not in the mood to go to the post office the next day and argue over my not having the right kind of government issued ID.

Roger Ebert: ‘There Are Only Two Meaningful Ratings: R and Not-R’ - Regarding the gross inconsistencies in the ratings board and it's use of the 6-7 archaic ratings, Ebert says:'Perhaps only three categories are needed: “G,” for young audiences, “T” for teenagers, and “A” for adults. These categories would be not be keyed to specific content but would reflect the board’s considered advice about a film’s gestalt and intended audience. At a time when literally any content can find its way into most American homes, what’s the point of singling out theatrical films? It’s time to admit we’ve lost our innocence.'
I have to say I agree with him. Three simple ratings sounds reasonable to me. When you have movies getting R ratings for a few everyday swear words and movies featuring numerous gruesome deaths receiving PG-13 ratings, your board is broken.

Bruce Timm Talks 'Green Lantern: The Animated Series' And 'Emerald Knights' Movie - From the article:'"We don't get into the whole Black Lantern thing," said Timm, citing DC Comics' recent "Blackest Night" crossover event that featured a massive war involving every color of Lantern and much of Earth's superheroes. "Hopefully the show is a big hit and will go on for six or seven years, and we'll do the Black Lanterns somewhere down the line, but for now we don't have any plans to go down that route."'
I can't imagine
Timm is serious given I can't recall when any of
the previous hit animated series have last more than 3 - 4 years. Seven seasons? If you say so. Show does sound good though.

New Savini-and Kane Hodder-pics from “ROBIN HOOD” - From the article:'The German-produced film, scripted by Sean Lee, has Robin Hood (Tom Bareck) and his Merry Men dying but continuing to haunt the forest, killing the rich and the poor.'
Well, that certainly is a unique take.
