Struggling To Surface
► Another day and I still have that groggy, bleary eyed, cotton headed, slightly dizzy feeling I had all yesterday. The best way I can think to describe it is that disorientation you get after spending too much time under water in a swimming pool. Still feel cold and have anxiety shakes and shivering.
I'm still going by the assumption that this has been caused by my overactive nerves these past 2 weeks, and my not eating very much lately (I think I may have lost 12 lbs). I'm still terrified about going for that check up on Thursday, and I can't really understand why.
Dad called me yesterday and suggested I go out with him tomorrow. I'll try making some supper later this afternoon, and hopefully I'll be alright tomorrow and able to go. I need to get control of this before I make myself sicker.
Coincidentally, I called my maternal grandmother on Sunday. Haven't seen her since mid summer as she lives out of town. Without my saying anything about how I've been, I got the usual warning about making myself so sick I'll end up in the hospital or a home.
► Earlier this afternoon I got an email from ArtChild telling me he got the money order I sent. One less thing to worry about. He left off with "chat soon". I hope that means he's starting my commission soon. Really excited about this.
► Sci-Fi Strippin': More Cosplay Burlesque Action - Love that Samus!
► IT Crowd DVD boxed set, complete with fantasy RPG! - This set, collecting Series/seasons 1 through 4, makes me wish I didn't already have the first 3 series/seasons on DVD. At least Series 4 is finally been scheduled for release in North America (mid December).
► Martin Aircraft’s commercial jetpack looks to take flight - Jetpack? Looks more like he has a dishwasher strapped to his back.
► Zack Snyder To Direct "Superman" - With Zack Snyder at the helm we're guaranteed much more violence and blood. That seems to be the modus operandi with his previous movie adaptions and remakes. His Dawn of the Dead, 300, and Watchmen films all ramped up the blood, gore, and brutal violence from their originals.
General Zod as the villain actually disappoints me. I love the character, but was hoping we'd get to see someone else from Superman's rogues gallery that we haven't seen on the big screen. Someone like Brainiac, Mongul, or Darkseid.
