I Wonder If I Can Get Lady Gaga To Handle My Phone Harassers
► My perception is slanted. All yesterday I knew it was Monday but I kept thinking it was Tuesday. As such, today I keep thinking it's Wednesday while it's only now Tuesday. I nearly panicked about having to remember to collect the garbage tonight, but our weekly pick up isn't until Thursday. I's confused!
► God damn I hate telemarketers. A couple of years ago there was a screw up with my sister's pay after the company she works for switched pay companies, and of no fault of her own. It took awhile to sort out.
For the past several months the financial company she had to deal with keeps calling the apartment. Because of her hearing problem (more severe than mine) she refuses to talk to them on the phone, saying if there's truly a problem or emergency they can mail her. Well, they call us 5 - 7 times a day now, and constantly leave automated voice messages. It's gotten so bad that when I see their number now I just lift and hang up the receiver. A few minutes ago I check the messages on our voice mail and there were 7 from the company. The first 5 were the same female automated message we've been getting for months. But the last 2 are new messages, this time with a deeper male voice. I guess that's to indicate the seriousness of the call. The kicker is that the new messages leave a mailing address for my sister to contact them. Why the hell have they not mailed her?
I'm seriously sick of dealing with this bullshit. It's plain harassment.
► Tomorrow I'll be testing my recent nervous issues, as I'm supposed to go visit my grandmother with Dad. May stop at the mall afterward. If we do I'm thinking of picking up the Final Crisis tradepaperback I saw at the book store a couple weeks ago. If it's still there.
► Ohh, may I have some?

► 'Footloose' exclusive: Andie Macdowell joines cast - Isn't it a bit anachronistic to have a movie about a small town reverend preaching against the evils of that "rock and roll" music? Even as a kid I thought the first film seemed out of place set in the then contemporary 1980s. They should just make it a period film.
► Bruce Campbell vs. Frankenstein? Not so Fast... - From the article:'Bruce Campbell tells MTV, 'We were hoping to do it during the middle of this break in my 'Burn Notice' TV schedule but I'm making a 'Burn Notice' TV movie instead about my character. It's a prequel movie about how Sam Axe got stuck in Miami. So we had to push ['Bruce vs. Frankenstein.'] Hopefully we'll do it during the next break'. He continues, 'I want every horror movie icon in the movie. I want it to be the Mad, Mad, Mad World of horror movies'.'
