Maybe I Shouldn't Be Surprised, "Lost" Is Her Favourite Show
► The biggest surprise of the day today? Going into the basement at my grandmother's house with her and my father to look at the book cases. She had a copy of the infamous 1968 "nonfiction" book Chariots of the Gods?. I think it's an original edition too. Struck me as odd to find she not only had it, but had read it.
It's now sitting next to my desk.
► Today was a successful outing at the mall. Picked up a copy of Final Crisis at the book store as planned, but also found a new, lone, Discworld book in the fantasy section, Small Gods. Luckily I was able to use Dad's discount card for the two.
I also got a nice little haul of DVDs. Well, if you can call 3 a "haul". Picked up Reversal of Fortune for cheap, and two 5 film sets for $10 each: James Stewart Screen Legend Collection and The Bela Lugosi Collection. Oddly, of the 5 films in the Lugosi set, 4 of them actually have Boris Karloff as the headliner, and in fact, Lugosi only has a small supporting role in one. Sad for Lugosi, good for this Karloff fan.
