The past week has been a combination of highs and lows. I was on 'host' mode for a lot of it - one of my colleagues from the Chinese office, a woman I'd helped recruit and train and befriended while I was there, visited our offices here this week, and I spent a lot of time with her, both in the office and out. I ended up going to the concert! I dragged T with me, who is my coworker and travel buddy from back home (work rented us neighboring apartments and we spend... pretty much every day and every evening together). So I have pretty good reason to believe that Madonna might just be the Queen of the universe. Like, The Queen, with caps.
