tonight's new episode of Stargate Universe, entitled Pain...
EDIT: when I saw this episode, I'd missed the first eight or nine minutes...so the first thing I saw was
2nd Lt Vanessa James sitting in bed, with Scott lying dead on her floor. and my thought was "what - the - hell?"
so, TJ *thinks* that the alien tick is injecting a venom that causes hallucinations (would she know if it was a microbe riding the tick like Sleeping Sickness rides mosquitos?)
um, Dr TJ, I don't think pregnant women are supposed to handle disease vectors or expose themselves to such risk...or at least not as "oh I'll be fine" dismissively as you were.
okay, so the fears seem to be as follows:
Chloe - her father.
Scott - his son.
Rush - the blue aliens.
Greer - Rush and Wray. and, depending on if he was hallucinating the whole time, his father.
Wray - ? (why was she pursuing Greer when he was chasing Rush who thought he was running from an alien?)
James - killing Scott.
I rather hope that this marks a (watershed? tidewater?) in Greer and Wray's interactions, and they'll be more civil around one another.
